Travis Rowe, MA Counselling
B.C. Registered Clinical Counsellor
As a therapist, Travis believes that every person has inherent value, is the expert of their own life, and is on a meaningful journey toward healing and wholeness. Since this is only experienced in a genuine, trusting, and honest therapeutic relationship, Travis’ goal is to come alongside people and help them on their journey however they may need him.
In order to do so, Travis draws from a variety of techniques including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and mindfulness to help people identify their core beliefs, the ways in which those beliefs affect behaviour, and discover new and healthier ways of responding to their world.
Travis has a Master of Arts in Counselling from Providence Seminary, and is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors.
He specializes in the areas of depression and anxiety, identity exploration and formation, processing trauma, and suicide intervention. Travis has experience working with a wide range of people from children to older adults, and has a passion to help youth and young adults find meaning and purpose for their lives.
